Way to Hotel

You will have to drive through the outskirts of Kisumu to get to the resort. From Kisumu International Airport (KIS), it is a 30-40 minute drive. You pass through the city center and head south towards port and Dunga area. Be very explicit with your driver that you are going to “Milimani Beach Resort in Dunga” (show them the P.O Box or map if need be), otherwise he might drive you up the hill to Milimani residential estate which is in the complete opposite direction.

The road to Dunga is tarmacked for most parts but becomes a dirt/gravel track in the last kilometer to the hotel. This road gets muddy during the rainy season but is generally motorable by ordinary cars. If you are not driving, then get yourself a Tuk-tuk. They are many within town and can easily ply the narrow Dunga road. A ride from CBD to the hotel should cost between 150-300 KES.
